The Jefferson County Courthouse is a historical building that was built in the year 1929. It also finds a place on the National Register of Historic Places. The building was designed by the Chicago Holabird and Root, who also designed the Soldier Field. It is situated across Linn Park in one of the greenest areas of Birmingham City. The city industrial history and cultural influences are showcased through a number of murals in the building.

2. Bessemer Courthouse
The city of Bessemer has its origins in the iron and steel works that the area is famous for. Thee Courthouse is located on the western part of the city. All non-felony criminal offences within the city of Bessemer can be tried here. It serves as the Judicial Branch of the governing branch of the city of Bessemer.

SHELBY COUNTY COURTHOUSE
1. Shelby County Courthouse
Shelby County is considered the fastest growing region in the state and occupies a central location in Alabama. It is about 800 square miles totally and offers a diverse landscape and culture. The 10,000 acre Oak Mountain State Park is located here and it is one of the biggest attractions of Shelby County. Colombiana is also home to a number of other county offices and organizations. Lay Lake is a famous water body found in this city.

BLOUNT COUNTY COURTHOUSE
1. Blount County Courthouse
Blount County was created in the year 1818 and has its county seat at Oneonta. It is famous for being a dry county that prohibits the sale of alcohol. The county is named after Governor Willie Blount who provided a lot of assistance to settlers in this part of the country.

1. St Clair County Courthouse, Ashville
The county of St Clair is known as a region that is older than the State of Alabama itself. It is named after General Arthur St. Clair. The city of Ashville is also steeped in old Southern culture with antebellum homes, churches and a historic Courthouse.

2. St Clair County Courthouse, Pell City
The original courthouse for St. Clair County was at Ashville, but presently it is shared with Pell City since 1907. Pell City has seen rapid growth and industrialization in recent years. It has a sizable and affluent local population.
Pell City has a industrial history and was founded by investors in rail road companies. It is named after one of these finances, Jonathan H. Pell.
It was founded in 1891 and has a number of historic structures dating from that time.
